1925 Jeweled Flapper Girl
1925jewelled flapper

Life in the 1920’s moved at a fast pace. Girls born in the early 1900’s saw their mothers wearing corsets and sweeping floor length skirts even on visits to the seaside. As teenageers and young ladies, theses same daughters were wearing flat-bosomed, sleeveless dresses that hardly covered their knees. One can only imagine their joy at this sudden emancipation.

This lavish jeweled costume captures the sheer radiance of that Era.

The shimmering teal dress is strewn with large satin finish sequins that look like glass. A pale teal sash with fancy button trim encircles the waist. True to the Era, the costume features a beaded fringe skirt of exquisite pale teal glass beads. The smooth fitting cloche hat is made from the same glittering sequins and edged in more glass bead fringe. Extravagant silver necklace encircle the neck numerous times then fall to the hem. An adorable round teal beaded bag, white gloves, white fur stole, teal leather look shoes and lace top stockings complete the ensemble.
