Chamomile Tea Chamomile makes a soothing tea to settle indigestion and stomach upsets or for those who have difficulty sleeping. It has a slightly bitter taste and a delicate aroma. It can be made from either fresh or dried flowers. Infuse the flowers in hot water for three or four minutes and add a teaspoon of honey to sweeten the tea, if desired. |

Combine your favorite herbs into a mixed herb tea. This is also a good way to include herbs which would taste far too strong to make into a tea on their own. Experiment with different combinations of herbs until you find a mixture that suites your tastebuds. Most herbal teas should be infused for 3-4 minutes and they can be sweetened with honey if necessary. This tea shown here includes mint, lavender, marigolds, rose petals and dried orange peel. |

Sage-leaf Tea For a refreshing tea, infuse 2 teaspoons fresh sage, 2 teaspoons fresh lemon balm, 3 teaspoons sugar and 2 lemon garters in 2 1/2 cups hot water for 5 minutes. Strain and cool the liquid, then add 2/3 cup white wine. |
