You will need: Dried lavender 1- Groups the lavender into small bunches of about eight stems. Wrap a length of florists wire tightly around the stems, near the flower heads, leaving long ends of wire for attaching the bunch to the wreath. Cut off and discard the ends of the stalks. 2- Attach the bunches of lavender to the wreath by wrapping the wire around the wreath and twisting it tightly on the back of the wreath. Work in one direction, laying the flower heads over the stalks of the previous bunch to hide them. 3- When you have finished attaching the lavender, add the dried roses. Cut their stems to about 2 in, in length and slip them in between the lavender bunches to fill in any gaps. The roses should not need extra wire attached to them. 4- Attach a length of coordination ribbon to the back of the wreath for hanging. |
