Chamomile Facial Steam Facial steams are ideal for brightening up dull, tired skin; however they are not recommended for particularly dry skin. First cleanse your face thoroughly to remove any dirt and grime. Place a handful of chamomile flowers in a bowl of boiling water. Hold your face about 12 in above the bowl and cover your head with a towel to prevent the steam escaping. Steam your face for about 10 minutes, then refresh the skin with a clean, damp face cloth. Other herbs suitable for this are marigolds, peppermint, sage and fennel. |
